Abstract:

To provide an agent for controlling the balance of an ecosystem of indigenous bacterium in the skin, not exhibiting the sterilizing action on Staphylococcus epidermidis which is useful bacterium and having the sterilizing action or proliferation-suppressing action on Staphylococcus aureus which is a harmful bacterium.

The agent for controlling the balance of an ecosystem of indigenous bacterium in the skin includes magnesium chloride or magnesium ion as an active ingredient.
