Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent for controlling the formation of a gas hydrate by the combined action to inhibit the formation of gas hydrate and stabilize the gas hydrate and provide a method for controlling the formation of the gas hydrate.
SOLUTION: The agent for controlling the formation of a gas hydrate contains a polymer compound produced by the copolymerization of a monomer expressed by formula (1) and monomers expressed by formula (2) and/or formula (3) (R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each independently H or a 1-3C hydrocarbon group; and (n) is an integer of 1-3).
