Abstract:
To provide an agent device, a control method of the agent device, and a program capable of inhibiting interruption unintended by an occupant.SOLUTION: A agent device comprises: agent function parts for providing services including a vocal response, according to an utterance of a driver in a vehicle. The agent function part comprises: a voice presence/absence recognition part that recognizes presence/absence of the utterance of the occupant; a time-out processing part that stops a function of the agent function part when a state where absence of the utterance of the driver is recognized by the voice presence/absence recognition part, continues for a predetermined time period after a reference time point; and a drive burden estimation part that estimates a drive burden of the driver. The time-out processing part suspends counting time of the predetermined time period when the drive burden of the driver estimated by the drive burden estimation part becomes a reference amount or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
