Abstract:

To provide an agent for removing/preventing discoloration, which has a superior discoloration removing effect to that of a conventionally used agent, and further positively prevents discoloration.

The agent for removing/preventing the discoloration of a plated tin or tin alloy film includes the following components (a) and (b): (a) one or more acids selected from among phosphonic acid, aminoalkylene phosphonic acid, hydroxyalkyl phosphonic acid, alkane sulfonic acid, alkanol sulfonic acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, phosphoric acid and a salt thereof; and (b) one or more thiourea derivatives selected from among thiourea, alkylthiourea, phenylthiourea and allylthiourea.
