To provide an agent for the treatment of neoplastic diseases having broad spectrum including sarcoma, fibrosarcoma, glioblastoma, malignant tumor, melanoma, Hodgkin's lymphoma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, leukemia and other neoplastic symptoms.
The invention relates to an agent for inhibiting the growth of neoplasm in mammals by using a prolactin modifying agent and a prolactin promoting agent. The prolactin modifying agent is administered to mammals at a prescribed time within 24 hour period to coincide or approach the circadian prolactin profile of the mammals to the circadian prolactin profile of healthy mammals of the same species and sex, and the prescribed time is determined by comparing the prolactin level of the blood of the mammals at multiple discrete timings within the 24 hour period with the corresponding blood prolactin level in a daily baseline prolactin profile of healthy mammals of the same species and sex.
