PURPOSE: To titled agent prepared by adsorbing an active constituent of the agent on the surface or interior of an adsorbent having the property suitable for staying at the peripheral area of an administration site for the agent of a living body.

CONSTITUTION: An agent for local administration obtained by adsorbing an active constitutent of the agent on the surface or interior of an adsorbent, e.g. active carbon or activated alumina, having the property suitable for staying at the peripheral area of an administration site for the agent of a living body, e.g. capillary vessels such as blood vessels or lymphs, in the living body tissues, in the serosal cavities or lymphatic nodes. The substance to be adsorbed (active constituent of the agent) may be any one of the gaseous phase and liquid phase, and the adsorbent is mixed with the substance to be adsorbed fully to adsorb the substance to be adsorbed. The agent is capable of maintaining a given high concentration specifically only in the desired affected part.
