To obtain a guide system that behaves more humanly.
A guide agent system ('system' called simply hereafter) 10 includes a CPU 14, and the CPU 14 controls an agent according to a program etc., stored in a ROM 28 and guides a user. For instance, when the user operates a keyboard 40 to input user personal information such as sex and the use frequency (the number of using times) of the system in the case the system 10 is installed in a museum, the CPU 14 decides the sex, operation and wording of the agent in accordance with it. That is, the CPU 14 can change controls of the agent in accordance with the user. Then, it is possible to change the operations and wordings of the agent as the number of times guiding the museum is increased.
