Abstract:

To provide an agent and a method to sufficiently prevent the deterioration with time of the flowability of concrete without causing a setting retardation and a deterioration of early strength in case that moderate heat portland cement, portland blast-furnace cement, etc., are used.

As the agent, a graft copolymer prepared by a graft reaction of a specific monohydroxy compound at a specified rate with a copolymer prepared by a radical polymerization of a specific radical polymerizable monomer mixture is used.
