Abstract:

To provide an agent for treating an inorganic powder, capable of improving the dispersibility of the powder in a thermoplastic resin, an inorganic powder improved in the dispersibility in a thermoplastic resin, and a thermoplastic resin composition which is excellent in thermal stability and moldability and can give a molded article excellent in mechanical strength, color tone, and the like.

The agent for treating an inorganic powder comprises a vinyl polymer having a hydrogen atom bonded to a silicon atom in the molecule. An inorganic powder treated with the agent and a thermoplastic resin composition having the treated inorganic powder incorporated therein are provided.
