Abstract:
To provide an aggregation inhibitor for circulating fluidized-bed boilers that inhibits the aggregation of a fluidized-bed medium and is held in the fluidized-bed medium, such as silica sand, and not easily discharged out of the system, a method for producing an aggregation inhibitor for circulating fluidized-bed boilers, and a fluidized-bed material for circulating fluidized-bed boilers.SOLUTION: An aggregation inhibitor for circulating fluidized-bed boilers uses silica sand as a fluidized-bed medium. The aggregation inhibitor comprises magnesium oxide particles with an average particle size D(1) of more than 15 μm to 2 mm or less and a BET specific surface area of 1 m2/g or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
