Abstract:
A soil stack pipe for a building has a branch pipe assembly of diameter larger than the pipes 1,2 and includes couplings 4,5, a deflecting and decelerating portion 7 with a partition plate 6, a collecting portion 8, 8a with a coupling 10 for a branch pipe 9 and a vortex portion of decreasing diameter with baffles 12 to cause a swirl in the downward flow in pipe 2.
