Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aggregate for refractory which is less in sinter shrinkage even when used at a high temperature, has CaO 6AlO(CA6) as a crystal phase suppressing detachment or collapse, is porous and has adiabaticity.SOLUTION: There is provided a CA6 particle for refractory having bulk density of 0.6 g/cm3 when screened to particle diameter of 3 to less than 6 mm, and cumulative volume of particle diameter of 20 μm or less of 30% or less in a particle size measurement by a laser scattering type particle diameter distribution measurement device when screened to particle diameter of less than 1 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
