PURPOSE: To efficiently mold a fibrous cushion member having a complicated shape.
CONSTITUTION: At least two kinds of raw fibers are opened to mix and fibers having random directions are transferred by air stream. These are supplied on an air permeable molding case 33 and sucked from the bottom to accumulate a specified amount of fibers on the frame. Further the accumulated fibers are compressed by an upper molding frame 34 to a specified depth, transferred together with both frames to a heating means and heated to mold. The supplied raw fibers are sucked and accumulated on the entire surfaces of the frame and accordingly, even in cases where the frame has a complicated shape, a fibrous cushion member having an accurate shape is obtained following the shape of the frame.
