Abstract:
To provide an aging apparatus effectively and efficiently detecting degradation characteristics of an organic electroluminescence element and defects of a pixel, when compared with a conventional apparatus.
When aging processing of the spontaneous light emitting apparatus in which light emitting is controlled by an active matrix driving system is performed, (a) in parallel with applying a data signal and a line selection signal for active matrix driving to the spontaneous light emitting apparatus, and (b) by applying a control signal for alternate current driving to a transistor connected in series between each light emitting element and a power supply voltage line, (c) each light emitting element is turned on and off within a field period.
