To provide a rotation-and-revolution-type agitating and degassing apparatus of which the construction for holding a container is greatly simplified.

This apparatus has a revolution axis (a revolution shaft 10); a body of revolution capable of revolving around the revolution axis; a rotation axis 30 positioned at the centrifugal side of the body of revolution; a first rotation-maintaining means (a side bearing 45) which is installed at the centrifugal side of the body of revolution, is fitted to the side face of the container, and holds the container so as to make it rotary around the rotation axis; a supporter 50 which is fitted to the bottom of the container and supports it; and a second rotation-maintaining means (a bottom bearing 55) which is installed at the centrifugal side of the body of revolution and holds the supporter so as to make it rotary around the rotation axis. Unlike a conventional one, this apparatus dispenses with an upper bearing, a lower bearing, and a container holder.
