PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitation device capable of driving an agitator without applying an undue force with a simple structure.SOLUTION: An agitation device can drive an agitator without applying an undue force with a simple structure. The agitation device includes: an agitator such as a two circle roller and the like having a rotary shaft and two agitating blades; first and second driving shafts in which a rotary shaft and a shaft center do not coincide; a first shaft coupling for connecting the first driving shaft to a first agitating blade side of the rotary shaft; a second shaft coupling for connecting the second driving shaft to a second agitating blade side of the rotary shaft; and a driving unit for performing rotational drive of only one of the first and second driving shafts exclusively. The driving unit includes a restriction member which allows a gear part of a first gear and a power side gear to face each other without play at a rotation position where a boundary between a gear part and a chipped-gear part of the first gear 31 faces the power side gear, and allows a gear part of a second gear and the power side gear to face each other without play at a rotation position where a boundary between a gear part and a chipped-gear part of the second gear 33 faces the power side gear.
