Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply square ice smoothly to an ice crusher from a square ice hopper by preventing formation of an ice bridge.SOLUTION: An agitation mechanism for an ice machine is configured which has: a crush part 4 for crushing square ice supplied from a square ice hopper 2; an eccentric cam 10 provided at a rotary shaft of a rotary driving member; a cam connection rod 14 in which a long hole 12 is formed in which an eccentric shaft 11 of the eccentric cam 10 is inserted, and which oscillates around an oscillation shaft according to the rotation of the eccentric cam 10; and an agitation rod 16 for oscillating on the upper side of the crush part 4 according to the oscillation of the cam connection rod 14. By rotating the eccentric cam 10 which is provided coaxially with the rotary shaft of a motor 5 for rotationally driving the crush part 4 and oscillating the agitation rod 16, formation of an ice bridge is prevented, and the square ice is smoothly supplied to the ice crusher 1 from the square ice hopper 2.
