To provide an agitation method capable of performing efficient agitation regardless of a flow velocity (Reynolds number) and a viscosity of an object being agitated, even in the use of an agitator equipped with small agitation blades.
The agitation method utilizing an agitator comprised of an agitation tank 1 for storing an object to be agitated therein, an rotatable agitation shaft 2 attached to the agitation tank 1, and agitation blades 3 attached to the agitation shaft 2 is characterized by disposing at least one agitation aid 4 made from a rigid body or an elastic body in the object and subsequently driving/rotating the agitation shaft 2 to agitate them in such a manner that the agitation aid 4 flows in the object as the object flows in the agitation tank 1.
