Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an agitation roller of a wire drawing lubricating device which continuously produce an excellent drawing wire by stably supplying a dry lubricant on an interface between a die and a steel wire.
CONSTITUTION: On a central position of the width of an external circumferential face 2 of a roller 1 composed of a ferrite magnet, a circumference groove 4 to guide a steel wire 3 along the circumferential line is installed, and each one of two column like agitating projections 5a, 5b is installed on each of both divided parts 2a, 2b of the external circumferential face 2 with the circumferential groove as the boundary while separated by a half circumferential pitch (180°) from each other.
