Abstract:

To provide an agricultural air conditioner, including an indoor unit installed in a plants growing house, and reducing the cost as a whole of the air conditioner.

This agricultural air conditioner is adapted for air-conditioning the interior of the plants growing house 1 used for growing plants or the like. The air conditioner includes: an outdoor unit 10 installed outside the plants growing house 1 to store an outdoor heat exchanger 32 and a compressor 41; and the indoor unit 50, which is installed inside the plants growing house 1, connected to the outdoor unit 10 by a refrigerant pipe 7 to enable air-conditioning operation, and provided with a propeller fan type blowing fan 34 driven by a fan motor 33 having a waterproof structure. In the indoor unit 50, the blowing fan 34 is driven to suck the air from the rear face of the body through the indoor heat exchanger 52 shown at least extending over the substantially whole surface of the rear face of the body, and the air-conditioned air is discharged from the front of the body.
