PURPOSE: The titled composition, capable of remarkably enhancing the action of an active constituent, having improved spreadability, and comprising (A) an agricultural spreader consisting of a metal salt of di-(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate or its mixture with another surfactant and (B) the active constituent.
CONSTITUTION: An agricultural drug composition comprising (A) an agricultural spreader consisting of a bi- or trivalent metal salt of di-(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate or its mixture with another surfactant and (B) an active constituent. The spreader enhances the effect of the active constituent, particularly an antiviral agent against plant viruses remarkably, facilitates the spreading over the back surface of leaf and near the growing point where the drug has not been easily spread in the past, and increases the amount of the drug applied to the unit area of the surface of the leaf and permeation of the drug into the plant body.
