PURPOSE: To reduce heat shrinkage ratio without lowering the strength by forming film from low density polyethylene having less than 35 melt flow ratio, less than 4 melt index and less than 0.3 unsaturation radical number per 1,000 C number.

CONSTITUTION: Film of small heat shrinkage is formed by using low density polyethylene having properties of less than 35 melt flow ratio, less than 4 mlet index and less than 0.3 unsaturation radical number per 1,000 carbon atoms. Obtained polyethylene film is used suitably for the agricultural film such as mulching film of which heat deformation is disliked. Also, when low density polyethylene having said property values is blended to general purpose low density polyethylene, heat shrinkage ratio and tear strength of general purpose polyethylene are improved.
