PURPOSE: To enable an agricultural tractor to cope with troubles, with inexpensive constitution, by arranging a gear switching mechanism, midway on the transmission shaft to a traveling apparatus, by which the power transmission from an output shaft to the traveling apparatus is made intermittent and power can be transmitted from an elongated shaft to the traveling apparatus in the disconnection of the power transmission described above previously.
CONSTITUTION: Midway on the transmission shaft Y from an output shaft 12 to a traveling apparatus, a gear switching mechanism c is arranged at the rear end part of a first transmission shaft 13. The gear switching mechanism c is constituted of a shift gear 27 having integrally the gear part 27a which engages with the gear 14a of a second transmission shaft 14 and another gear part 27b. This enables the switching between a first state in which the inner peripheral surface of the rear gear part 27a links with the first transmission shaft 13 and revolves integrally and a second state in which the front gear part 27b engages with the inner teeth 24d of a cylinder shaft 24, due to shifting. In the second state, the linkage of the first and the second transmission shafts 13 and 14 is disconnected, and the force of revolution of an elongated shaft 11 is transmitted to the second transmission shaft 14 through the cylinder shaft 24, gear parts 27a and 27b, and the gear 14, and further transmitted to front and rear wheels.
