Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aid for putting on and taking off footwear, an aid that can cope with an article of footwear of various types and dimensions and that has convenient operability.SOLUTION: An aid includes a grip part 1 and a handlebar 6. The grip part 1 comprises an arm support member 2 and a pair of arms 3, 4. The arm support member 2 is abutted on the side of the ankle part 14a of an article of footwear 14, while one arm 3 and the other arm 4 are freely openably/closeably installed on the front part and the rear part respectively of the arm support member 2. In the inner peripheral part surrounded with the one arm 3, the other arm 4 and the arm support member 2, there is formed a space part 16 for accepting an article of footwear. The aid is characterized in that the handlebar 6 extends upward from the grip part 1 and has an operation part 12 with which the opening and closing of the one arm 3 and the other arm 4 can be freely operated.
