Abstract:
PURPOSE: To expand an air bag forward of the assistant driver's seat and the center seat of a bench seat.
CONSTITUTION: An air bag 26 is expanded forward of the assistant driver's seat 14B and the center seat 14C of a bench seat 14. Guides 35 are disposed within an air bag case 22 and arranged on roughly half of the center seat 14C side of the inside of the air bag case 22. A plurality of wings 35A are aligned on the guides 35, forcing part of gas injected from an inflator 34 to flow toward the assistant driver's seat 14B of the bench seat 14.
