Abstract:
To obtain an air bag device that is able to hinder inward displacement, in a vehicle width direction, of an air bag that is brought into contact with a curtain air bag.SOLUTION: An air bag device 10 comprises: a curtain air bag 22 that is expanded with gas supplied to inside thereof and inflates outside an occupant in a vehicle width direction seated on a front passenger seat 14; and an air bag body 18 that is expanded with gas supplied to inside thereof and inflates from an instrument panel 16 side toward a front of the occupant seated on the front passenger seat 14. The air bag device 10 also comprises a sub-air bag 20 that is expanded with gas supplied to inside thereof and inflates between an inside portion of the air bag body 18 in the vehicle width direction and the instrument panel 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
