Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce components in number for an air bag device, and realize a reduction in cost.
SOLUTION: A bag 1 is doubled up at its folding part 12, and its peripheral part 13 is sewn together so as to be formed into a bag shape. A slit 14 is provided for the folding part 12, and two mounting holes 11 are provided for a place close to the folding part 12. Reinforcing cloth 2 is sewn together with the inner side of the folding part 12, and a slit and respective mounting holes corresponding to the slit 14 and the mounting holes, are provided. Blocking cloth 3 has its one end 30 sewn together with the reinforcing cloth 2 with the bag 1, and a tongue part 31 covering the slit 14 and mounting holes 32 are provided for the other side and places corresponding to the respective holes 11. An inflator 4 is inserted into the bag 1 through the slit 14, a projected shaped mounting part (not shown in figure) provided for the inflator 4 is inserted into the mounting hole 11 so as to allow the mounting part to be projected out to the outside of the bag 1, the tongue part 31 of the blocking cloth 3 is closely wound up over the folding part 12 from the outer side, and the other side of the blocking cloth 3 is thereby locked by letting the mounting part be inserted into the mounting holes 32.
