Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device which can operate surely and store compactly for a car body.
SOLUTION: In an air bag device 1 arranged along the inner wall or trimming material of a vehicle under a folded state, whose both ends are connected to the inner wall or trimming material of the vehicle and provided with a bag body extending between the connection parts in a straight line shape at the spreading time, a pressure receiving part 10 with a bag shape with a bottom by the folding back to the inside of one end of a soft cylindrical bag body 6 is formed and in the cylindrical bag body 6, the reverse turn to the inside is allowed at the folding back part 9 and the cylindrical bag body is supported in a ring shape so that the reverse turn to the outside is impossible and the ring shape support part 11 and the other end of the cylindrical bag body 6 are connected to both connection parts. In this case, in the ring shape support part 11, by the pressure of gas supplied in the pressure receiving part 10, an entire length is shortened by the reverse turn of the outside of one part of the cylindrical bag body 6 to the inside at the folding back part 9 and the shift to the pressure receiving part 10.
