Abstract:
To improve operativeness of a switch provided on an air bag device.
A folded and stored air bag 14 is covered with a synthetic resin-made cover body 21. Planar switches 16, 17 are arranged between the cover body 21 and the air bag 14. The switches 16, 17 have their switch parts 16a, 17a bent along the back surface side of a coating part 31, connection piece parts 16b, 17b are bent along the mounting piece part of the cover body 21. The twist between switch parts 16a, 17a and the connection piece parts 16b, 17b is absorbed in a narrow width part 17e formed on the connection piece parts 16b, 17b.
