To quickly take refuge in a standing attitude without creeping on a floor surface from a place where fire or the like occurs by forming a part to be at least a visual field by means of a transparent material and swelling the part in a bag shape in the size where at least a human head is put in by means of the pressure of air which is injected from an air injecting port to an air flow path.
When air is injected by a method for blowing-in exhalation or the like from the mouth of a user himself, for example, from an air injecting port 2 with a check valve which is arranged at the end part of an air bag for protection 1, the air bag 1 is swelled in a spherical shape as air flows into the air flow path 4. Then, the user grips a part near the air injecting port 2 by hands and puts it on the breast after putting the swelled protective air bag 1 on from an entrance 3 so that the entrance 3 is tightly fit to clothes from shoulders to the breast. Thus, the air containing the harmful gas of the outside which is generated at the time of the fire or the like, is prevented from invading into the air bag 1. Then, at least the visual field part of the air bag 1 is formed by a material such as a transparent film sheet.
