Abstract:
To provide an improved air bag structure for an automobile.
The structure uses a polygonal panel in a non-circular shape. Thus, it has storage efficiency higher than that which is achieved so far by a similar air bag using a circular panel. Besides, the stricture has an air bag which completely utilizing the strength of yarns constituting a clothing fabric and the energy absorption of a fabric structure and uses yarns and/or materials having relatively low toughness at a similar performance level.
