PURPOSE: To develop an air bag always to a specific shape, by using a plurality of threads having a strength over a special value per strap in the longitudinal direction of the strap.
CONSTITUTION: As for an air bag, four straps 8 for restricting the extension toward the passenger direction in the case where the air bag is devoloped are installed from an installation basic part side 6 to the passenger side 7. A plurality of threads having a strength of at least about 5kg per one piece of the strap 8 are used as weaving thread or seaming thread in the longitudinal direction. Though the strength of the thread differs according to the quantity and the thickness (width) of the strap of the air bag, at least one thread is used for about 10mm in the width direction of the strap obtained through weaving, in order to apply the uniform strength on the strap.
