PURPOSE: To hold flexibility of an air bag body surface, secure heat resistance and airtightness, reduce weight of a bag itself, and reduce a manufacture cost.
CONSTITUTION: In an air bag firmed by sewing face contact side base fabric and inflater installing side base fabric into a bag shape, short fibers 3 are arranged on one surface of synthetic fiber woven fabric 2, and the individual short fibers 3 are entangled with each other by means of a hydraulic entangling system without using a binder, and at the same time, the fibers 3 are entangled with the synthetic fiber woven fabric 2, and on the other hand, air bag base fabric 1 formed by laminating (4) highlyheat resistant resin on woven fabric on the opposite side the fibers 3 is used as the face contact side base fabric so that the fiber entangled side become the outer surface side and the heat resistant resin laminated side become the inner surface side.
