PURPOSE: To provide the air bag which is high in rapture tenacity, light in weight, and can be easily recycled.

CONSTITUTION: The revelling tenacity of either one of each vertical or each horizontal thread line consisting of a base fabric in a sewing margin between the base fabric end of an air bag and each sewing line, shall be equal to or more than 1.5kg/thread. Sewing is carried out by using a synthetic fiber multi- filament thread whose fineness is 700 to 1400 den. in such a way that sewing lines shall be in two rows, a space between the two sewing lines shall be 1 to 5mm, a sewing pitch shall be 1 to 3mm, and sewing shall be proper sewing or double ring shape sewing. Besides, textile as the base fabric is formed out of synthetic fiber multi-filament threads each of which is less than 500den., and its cover factor is equal to or more than 1700. And the gas permeability of the textile is less than 1.55cc/cm2/sec.
