Abstract:

The object is to provide a tongue of an inflatable belt device which allows a lap belt anchor to be easily assembled to a tongue body. A tongue plate (8) is provided on its one surface with hook-like projections (16) for coupling a lap belt anchor (14) to the tongue plate (8), and stoppers (18) for preventing the lap belt anchor (14) engaged with the projections (16) from coming off the projections (16). Each stopper (18) is supported by a plate spring (22). As receiving holes (28) are engaged with the projections (16), the stoppers (18) come in contact with the front end face of the lap belt anchor (14).
