PURPOSE: To make it possible that the front area of an air blower device pro vided with a cross flow fan is suppressed small by providing space that contains an electrical equipment at the end part of the motor side of a casing that contains a fan and a motor.

CONSTITUTION: A cover 49 is fitted from the upper of a mounting piece 43 and an electrical part 48 is sheathed with a cover 49, and the front part 54 and the rear 56 of a vertical piece 52 shorter than the other is fitted to the outer wall of a mounting member 42 and fixed with tape 58. And, a center part 55 is inserted into an opening 59 between the inner wall of the mounting member 43 and a limit switch 57 forming the mounting member 42 in a box shape. And, the height dimension of the mounting member 42 coincides with the height dimension of an opening 66 between the top plate 38 and the lower plate 60 of a storage part 34. Therefore, while placing the mounting member 42 lower plate 60 of the storage part 34, the mounting member 42 can be inserted from the front. Like this, the front area of an air blower device can be suppressed small eliminating the necessity of separately providing the storage space of the electrical equipment in the outside of a casing.
