Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower capable of preventing locking of a fan while suppressing reduction of an air-blowing amount.SOLUTION: A plurality of grooves 30 are formed in a region confronting a fan 19 of a bottom surface 40 positioned in a lower part of a scroll casing 21 in a state of being mounted on a vehicle. The plurality of the grooves 30 are formed, and therefore, when water intrudes into the fan region, the water flows into the grooves 30. Thus, locking of the fan due to freezing of the water can be prevented. Although there is a possibility that the water remains between the grooves 30, the height of the ice when the water is frozen can be reduced by reducing an interval between the grooves 30. Thus, the prescribed number of the prescribed pattern of grooves 30 are provided on the bottom surface 40, and the size of the waterdrop 60 is prevented from becoming large enough to reach the fan 19.
