Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower capable of suppressing increase in a size of a fan shroud while securing fan efficiency.SOLUTION: An air blower 1 includes: an axial flow-type fan 3 having a plurality of blades 30; and a fan shroud 2 having a ring part 21 surrounding an outer periphery of the fan 3 and cylindrically extending in a rotation axis direction of the fan 3, and an air guide part 23 communicating an outer peripheral edge 22 and an inner peripheral edge of the ring part 21, and rotatably supporting the fan 3. The blade 30 is formed in such a manner that an angle formed by a line rs connecting a root portion 300a of a front edge 300 and a center 33 of the fan 3 and a line rc connecting an intermediate portion 300c of the front edge 300 and the center 33 of the fan 3 is a sweepback angle of 0 degree or more and 10 degrees or less. Further, the blade 30 is formed in such a manner that the difference between an attachment angle of the root portion 300a in the blade 30 and an attachment angle of the intermediate portion 300c is within a range of 5 degrees or more and 15 degrees or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
