To eliminate a non-uniform flow of air blown from an air blowing port under an influence of dynamic wind in an air blowing device of an air conditioner and provide a comfortable air conditioning operation.
This air blowing device is constructed such that there are provided a substantial cylindrical air blowing duct 4 which is rotatably arranged around its central axis; air blowing ports 6 formed at a side surface of the air blowing duct 4; and partition sections 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f, 5g and 5h arranged in a wide and short space as they approach the upper section of the air blowing port 6, thereby a resistance is applied to flow of wind by the partition sections 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e, 5f, 5g and 5h as they approach the upper side, the flow of wind from the upper side is controlled and a uniform flow of wind can be attained.
