To provide an air bubble generator which effectively produce cavitations, and a water purification system equipped with the same.
The air bubble generator 100 includes a main flow path 101, a thin flow path 102 and an expanded flow path 103. The main flow path 101 has an inlet port 140. The thin flow path 102 has an inlet port 121. The expanded flow path 103 has a connection port 122 and an outlet port 123. The expanded flow path 103 is formed to have cross sectional area of the expanded flow path 103 gradually expanding from the connection port 122 to the outlet part 123. The main flow path 101 and the thin flow path 102 are connected through the inlet port 121 of the thin flow path 102 in a manner that the flow direction of a fluid passing in the thin flow path 102 is changed about 90° from the flow direction of a fluid passing in the main flow path 101. The cross sectional area of the thin flow path 102 is smaller than the cross sectional area of the main flow path 101 and about constant.
