Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bypass valve which can easily discharge foreign matters in a pressure equilibrium chamber.SOLUTION: A movable-side member 26 has a valve body 50. A spring 76 energizes the movable-side member 26 in a closing direction. An electromagnetic device 22 moves the movable-side member 26 in an opening direction by an electromagnetic suction force. A seal member 88 seals a clearance between a fixed-side member 24 and the movable-side member 26, and seals a pressure equilibrium chamber 90 between both the members. A pressure introduction passage 92 for making a flow-in path 12a of an intake bypass passage 12 and the pressure equilibrium chamber 90 communicate with each other is formed at the movable-side member 26. The seal member 88 is arranged at the valve body 50, elastically contacts with a guide member 32 of the fixed-side member 24 at the valve-closing of the valve body 50, seals a clearance between both the valve body and the guide member, and seals the pressure equilibrium chamber 90. The guide member 32 and the seal member 88 form an opening part 94 for opening the pressure equilibrium chamber 90 by being separated at the valve-opening of the valve body 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
