Abstract:
To provide an air chiller device for feeding cooled air to meals served on an aircraft.
The air chiller device 1 comprises a refrigerating cycle unit mounted on a casing 10. The refrigerating cycle unit has a refrigerant compressor 20, a condenser 30, and an evaporator 40, whereby air is cooled to be fed to a galley, etc. by a blower device 60. The casing 10 is formed of a honeycomb panel. The honeycomb panel has high bending rigidity to support the refrigerating cycle unit with a base plate only. It also has good heat insulating property to improve air cooling efficiency.
