Abstract:
To provide an air cleaner for an engine which is suitable for building a passage structure for introducing blow-by gas into a carburetor.SOLUTION: An air cleaner 50 for an engine includes: a body part 52 having a filter part 51 and a storage chamber S of a blow-back fuel-air mixture collision member 57; an outer air inlet part 53; a blow-by gas inlet part 54; an air outlet part 55; and an internal passage 56 for guiding the blow-by gas flowed thereinto to the air outlet part 55. The blow-by gas inlet part 54 and the air outlet part 55 are formed at a carburetor side end wall 522 of the body part 52. The storage chamber S is divided into a first area S1 located at the outer air inlet part 53 side and a second area S2 located at the air outlet part 55 and the collision member 57 side. The collision member 57 is positioned between a second area side opening end 55a of the air outlet part 55 and the filter part 51 and integrally has a collision part 57a and a passage formation part 57b which cooperates with the carburetor side end wall 522 to form the internal passage 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
