Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce intake noise without providing a resonator to an air cleaner.SOLUTION: An intake passage 27 for regulating a circulation range of intake is provided in an upstream intake chamber 21 formed upstream of a filter 25 in a case 11 of the air cleaner 1. The intake passage 27 is formed by mounting a passage forming member 31 formed separately from a case body 12 upward of a projecting part 29 formed at a bottom face of the upstream intake chamber 21. Providing the intake passage 27 in the upstream intake chamber 21 elongates the length of a circulation channel for intake to reduce the intake noise.
