To provide an air cleaner with a choke valve that can increase adhesion property.SOLUTION: An air cleaner 8 filters air A fed to an engine E. The air cleaner 8 includes: an air intake passage 24 for introducing the air A from a clean chamber 37 to the engine E; a choke valve 62 for opening and closing the air intake passage 24; and a pressing member 74 for pressing a valve element 64 coming into contact with and separated from an inlet end edge 24a of the air intake passage 24 in the choke valve 62 to the inlet end edge 24a in a valve close position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
