Title:
AIR CLEANER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003079710
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an air cleaner with which a smell discharged from the inside of the air cleaner can be surely decomposed in a simple structure and further, the cost is reduced.

The air cleaner is operated by repeating an active state for performing an air cleaning function for a fixed period and a standstill state for stopping the air cleaning function for a fixed period. An ozone generating part 2 is located inside a casing 1 of the air cleaner and generates the ozone gas of prescribed concentration during the period of the standstill state. The remaining smell generated in the casing 1 is decomposed by the ozone generated by the ozone generating part 2 during the period of the standstill state. Air (atmosphere), with which discomfort is suppressed by this ozone decomposition, is exhausted from an air ejecting hole side 1B.
