To provide an air cleaner which enables a light emitting display body to be checked from any direction of an air cleaner main part.
A translucent body is formed by molding a suction pipe 2 of a cylindrical shape forming a flow passage in the main part by a transparent resin and the light emitting display body indicating an operating state is formed by providing both ends or one end of the suction pipe 2 with a plurality of two-color LEDs 10. Regarding the installation place of the LEDs 10, and the number of pieces of the installation thereof, there are no particular restrictions, insofar as the display of the light emitting display body 11 can be checked from the entire circumference of a main part case 4. Also, a configuration to change the light emitting colors of the two-color LEDs 10 according to a contamination level by disposing a contamination sensor detecting the contamination level within the main part case 4 is employed as one of the operating states.
