To provide an air cleaner having excellent quietness and capable of suppressing water droplets and making generation of negative ions intensive.

The air cleaner includes: a water storage tank 1 for storing water W; a transparent partition plate 2c erected from the water surface level of the water storage tank 1 to the substantially vertically upper direction; a water circulating part 10 having a pump 13 for pumping up the water W within the water storage tank 1; and a heavily flowing device 20 for making the water W pumped up by the pump 13 heavily flow from the upper part of the transparent partition plate 2c along the front face side flatly and fall down to the water surface. The water circulating part 10 makes the water W pass through a radon generation mineral storage container 16 from inside of the water storage tank 1 to dissolve radon.
