Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of reducing dust quantity detection errors.SOLUTION: An air cleaner comprises a casing, a pre-filter, a dust sensor 60 and a fan. The casing includes a left side suction port 12b for sucking air and an air outlet for blowing out the air sucked from the left side suction port 12b which are formed thereon. The pre-filter cleans the air sucked from the left side suction port 12b. The dust sensor 60 detects the dust contained in the air sucked from the left side suction port 12b. The fan forms an air flow in such a way that the air sucked from the left side suction port 12b passes through the pre-filter. The dust sensor 60 is disposed in the vicinity of the left side suction port 12b so as not to reduce quantity of air passing through the dust sensor 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5B
