Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner which can improve the workability of opening/closing a housing while reducing the number of sites via which a second case is assembled on a first case.SOLUTION: An air cleaner 10 includes a housing 11 consisting of a first case 12 and a second case 13, and a filter element 31 detachably mounted between both cases 12, 13. On a wall part of the first case 12, upstream of the filter element 31, an inlet pipe 17 is provided, and downstream thereof, an outlet pipe 19 is provided. To the outlet pipe 19, an outlet duct 21 is fastened via a fastener 25. In the air cleaner 10, there is the second case 13 provided with a stay 41 extending toward the outlet pipe 19. A fastened portion 42 at the front end of the stay 41 is fastened to the outlet pipe 19 via the fastener 25 together with the outlet duct 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
